Terms of sale
Last updated October 2026
You buy machined parts in titanium and other hard alloys from us. These are the terms that sit behind that, in plain language. Where a term is still being finalised, this page says so rather than stating a number we have not committed to.
1. Who you are buying from
Orders are accepted, invoiced and fulfilled by the CNC Titan selling entity named on your quote and invoice. This is confirmed in writing on your quote and order acknowledgement. We are the supplier of record. We place the machining with an audited shop in our managed network and we remain responsible to you for the parts, the schedule and the paperwork. You do not contract with, pay or claim against the shop.
2. Quotes
A quote is based on the drawing, revision, quantity, alloy, condition, finish and inspection stated on it. Change any of those and the quote changes. Quotes are valid for the period printed on them, normally 30 days, and the price assumes the material availability at the time of quoting. Material price movements after that period are passed on only with your written agreement.
Our quotes carry a piece price, quantity breaks, one-off costs listed separately, a lead time with its starting point and the material lead time stated separately, what documentation ships with the parts, the delivery basis and the payment terms. Design for manufacture notes are offered as suggestions and are never applied without your written approval.
3. Orders and payment
An order starts when you issue a purchase order against a valid quote and we acknowledge it in writing. The acknowledgement is what fixes the delivery date, not the purchase order date.
Payment terms for your order are stated on the quote and the order acknowledgement. This is confirmed in writing on your quote and order acknowledgement. Payment is made to the company account named on the invoice. We never ask for payment to a personal account, and any message that does is not from us.
There is no minimum quantity. Where a minimum order value applies, because freight and bank charges would otherwise exceed the value of the parts, it is stated on the quote before you order.
4. Changes and cancellation
A change to the drawing, revision, quantity or specification after acknowledgement may change the price and the date, and we tell you both before proceeding. If you cancel after production has started, you pay for material bought, work completed and any one-off costs already incurred. We always show you what those are.
5. Delivery
The delivery basis for your order is stated on the quote. This is confirmed in writing on your quote and order acknowledgement. Import duties and taxes in the destination country are yours unless the quote says otherwise in writing.
Lead times are given in working days from the starting point named on the quote. We send a written progress update every week while the order runs, and if a date is at risk we tell you as soon as we know rather than on the shipping date.
6. Inspection, claims and remedies
Every order is measured against your drawing before packing and ships with an inspection report. The inspection level that ships as standard is stated on your quote. Please inspect the parts on arrival and tell us about any shortage, damage or non-conformance promptly, with photographs and the measured values, so we can act while the evidence is fresh.
Where parts do not conform to the agreed drawing and specification, the remedy available to you is set out on your quote and order acknowledgement. This is confirmed in writing on your quote and order acknowledgement. Our responsibility runs to the parts as specified. We do not accept liability for a drawing that was wrong, for a specification that could not do the job, or for a change agreed verbally and never confirmed in writing.
7. Your drawings and intellectual property
Your drawings, models and specifications remain yours. We use them to quote and, if you order, to produce the part. They are shared with the one shop that machines the part, under that shop's confidentiality terms with us, and with nobody else. We do not use your design for another customer, we do not publish it, and we do not present your parts as our own work without your written consent.
An NDA is offered by default and should be signed before you send anything you consider sensitive. Uploaded files are deleted after 12 months, as set out in the privacy policy. Tooling and fixtures that you have paid for in full are yours, and we say so on the invoice line.
8. Export control
You are responsible for telling us if a part, its drawing or its end use is subject to export control in your country. We screen aerospace and defence-adjacent requests and decline items we cannot lawfully receive or machine in Vietnam. Where a licence or an end-use statement is required, the order does not start until it is in place.
9. Things outside our control
Neither side is liable for delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including mill allocation of titanium or nickel alloy stock. Where that happens we tell you what has changed, what we are doing about it and what the new realistic date is.
10. Limitation of liability
Our total liability for an order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss such as lost production, lost profit or the cost of a line stoppage. If your application makes that limit unworkable, tell us before you order and we will discuss it rather than leave it buried in a document.
11. Governing law and questions
The governing law and jurisdiction for an order are stated on your order acknowledgement. Questions about anything on this page can go to , and we answer within 24 business hours. If a term here is unclear, that is our problem to fix and we would rather hear about it.
