Industries we machine hard alloys for
Prototypes, small lots and parts with several process steps. The common thread is a buyer who wants one contact, an NDA before the drawing moves and an inspection report with the parts.
-
Medical device prototypes
Grade 23 ELI, Grade 5, 17-4 PH, 316L
Instrument and implant prototypes for development and bench testing, with ASTM F136 traceability on request. We take development and pre-production quantities. We do not take implantable production lots, which need an ISO 13485 chain we do not hold.
-
Motorsport
Grade 5, Inconel 625 and 718, 17-4 PH
Suspension and steering components, fasteners, brackets, heat-shield hardware and exhaust flanges. One-offs for a test weekend and small batches for a season. Colour anodise for identification is common.
-
Aerospace R&D
Grade 5, Inconel 718, 17-4 PH
Test fixtures, brackets, mounts and development hardware for ground and rig testing. Development only: we hold no AS9100 or NADCAP and do not supply flight-certified production. Export-control screening applies, see below.
Export-control screening applies.
-
Defence-adjacent and dual-use
Grade 5, hardened steel, Inconel
Development parts for buyers who want one contact and an NDA before a drawing moves anywhere. We screen every request and decline items we cannot lawfully receive. Export-control screening applies, see below.

-
Oil, gas, marine and subsea
Inconel 625, Monel 400, 2205 and 2507 duplex, Grade 2
Fittings, housings, fasteners and sensor bodies where seawater, sour service or chlorides decide the material. Passivation or as-machined. Material certificate with heat number as standard practice on these orders.
-
Energy, process and tooling
Hastelloy C-276, Inconel 625, H13, D2, Invar
Process parts in Hastelloy and 625 for acid and chloride service, 718 fixtures for high temperature, hardened die and mould components in H13 and D2, Invar fixtures for metrology. Small lots and replacements where the material, not the geometry, is the hard part.
Screening is part of the quote
Aerospace and defence-adjacent hardware can fall under ITAR, EAR or an equivalent regime in the buyer's country. We ask about end use and end user on every request in those sectors, and we decline a drawing we cannot lawfully receive or machine in Vietnam. That decision is made before the file is opened by anyone else, and we tell you the reason.
If you are not sure whether a part is controlled, say so. We would rather spend the time on the question than quote something neither side can ship. Nothing on this site is guidance on export control; that belongs with your own compliance function.
What we do not take
- Flight-certified production
- Parts that need an AS9100 or NADCAP supply chain. We do not hold either.
- Implantable production
- Production lots of implants need an ISO 13485 chain. Prototypes for development, yes. Production, no.
- Controlled items
- Anything on a munitions list or otherwise controlled in a way we cannot lawfully receive in Vietnam. We say which, and why.
- Forgings, castings, welded assemblies
- We quote machining from bar and plate. See capabilities for the full list.
