Who runs this, and what it is
CNC Titan is an export trading company in Ho Chi Minh City that sells machined parts in titanium and other hard-to-machine alloys. We buy the machining from professional CNC shops in a network we manage, and we carry the order from drawing review to delivery.
Are you a trading company or a factory?
A trading company. We own no machines and we are not going to pretend otherwise, because a buyer who finds out later has every right to walk. We buy machining in titanium, Inconel and hardened steel from shops we audit and we sell you the finished part on our own quote, order acknowledgement and invoice. You contract with us, pay us and claim against us.
What makes a trading company worth using instead of a broker is what happens between the purchase order and the delivery. Ours is this: a managed network of professional CNC shops that we audit and run; an engineer assigned to every order who reviews the drawing, checks the material and attends the first article; a written progress update to you every week; and inspection against your drawing before anything is packed. That is the product. The part is what it is applied to.
How we are paid
From the margin between the price we pay the shop and the price on your quote. It is a margin, not a commission. There is no service fee and no charge for quoting or for the engineering review. A re-made part comes out of our margin, which is why we place work with the shop that can hold the drawing rather than the one with the lowest price.
Why hard alloys only
Because titanium, nickel superalloys and hardened steel are where a shop that cuts them occasionally does the most damage: work hardening, heat at the edge, distortion in thin walls, galled threads, a part that moves after heat treatment. Knowing which shops in Vietnam cut Grade 5 or Inconel 718 every week, how they tool it and what they measure it with, is the knowledge this company is built on. A general machining desk cannot carry that for every material.
Who is behind it
Ryan, founder, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. I visit the shops, I read the drawings that arrive here and I am the person answering . There is no sales team between you and the engineer on your order.
What we will not do
- Claim to own machines, or describe a shop in the network as if it were ours
- Name the shops we work with, or let a shop contact you directly
- Share a drawing with anyone before the NDA you asked for is signed
- Claim AS9100, ISO 13485, NADCAP or any certificate we do not hold
- Publish prices, or quote a tolerance before an engineer has read the drawing
- Add you to a mailing list, sell your details or resell your drawing
What we cannot show you yet
No case studies, no testimonials, no logo wall and no factory photographs. This is a young company and the parts we make belong to the customers who ordered them, most of them under NDA. We would rather you judged the process on this site, the quote that comes back and the first order, than a page of logos we cannot stand behind.
